Eptalofos or Agoriani is enthroned on the western mass of Parnassos, north of Arachova and east of Amfissa and at an altitude of 860 meters.
It belongs administratively to the Municipality of Delphi and together with Polydroso and Lilaia forms the Municipal Unit of Parnassos.
The first name Agoriani comes from the words Agori and above (Agoriani) due to the presence of the first inhabitants who were men and went up to the mountains to face the enemy raids in the mountain passes, who finally settled there permanently.
