An important day for Amfissa Municipal Stadium

The inauguration of the new tartan was carried out by the Municipality of Delphi and the E.A.S. SEGAS of Eastern Mainland & Evia

In the presence of officials, representatives of bodies, sports clubs and citizens

on Saturday September 30, 2023, the inauguration of the new elastic carpet (tartan) of the Municipal Stadium of Amfissa, organized by the Municipality of Delphi and the E.A.S. SEGAS of Eastern Mainland & Evia.

The Mayor of Delphi, Mr. Panagiotis Tagalis, expressed his satisfaction at the completion of this great project for the sports community of the region and beyond, as the new athletics tartan is the first in the prefecture of Fokida, which was built according to the specifications of the General Secretariat of Sports, thus making the Municipal Amfissa Stadium also suitable for holding official sports events. Also, Mr. Tagalis thanked everyone who contributed to the realization of the project, each one putting their own little stone in the modernization of the Stadium.

The event was also attended by the Metropolitan of Fokida, Mr. Theoktistos, the Deputy Regional Governor P.E. Fokidas, Mr. Georgios Delmouzos, the former Mayor of Delphi and President of AS Iniochos, Mr. Athanasios Panagiotopoulos, the head of the municipal faction Renewal Force of the City of Delphi, Mr. Loukas Anagnostopoulos, the Deputy Mayors, Mr. Nikolaos Loupakos and George Tsatsaronis, the President of Amfissa Community Mr. Panagiotis Merinopoulos, the General Secretary of the E.A.S. SEGAS of Eastern Sterea & Evia Mr. Konstantinos Efthimiadis, the President of the EPS of Fokida Mr. Fanis Angelous, Municipal Councilors etc.

With the completion of the opening ceremony, the “K14 (boys-girls) 2023-Road Triathlon” and the K12 Development Games, which were organized by EAS SEGAS Eastern Sterea & Evia, took place, the first to be organized under the new conditions at Amfissa Municipal Stadium.
