In the middle of the village is the church dedicated to the “Dormition of the Virgin Mary” and then the beautiful square with the plane trees, the ornamental mulberry trees, the Memorial of the Fallen, the playground, the shop. The square is the work of the Association of Marialates “The Birth of the Virgin” and many fellow villagers. At the entrance of the square there is a stone-built fountain, the work of the Cultural and Educational Association of the Women of Mariolata. At the bridge that connects the lower settlement with the road to the old village, in the trees the visitor has the opportunity to rest in an area covered in greenery, where a fountain has been built, benches and tables have been added by the Cultural and Educational Association of Mariolata Women. In the old village, Paliovrisi and Motso have their own history.
